Overview

The State of Nevada Purchasing Division, on behalf of the Department of Education, is currently seeking proposals for Marketing Services, Conference Planning Services, Facilitation, Program Evaluation, Training, Needs Assessments, Project Management, Data Analysis and Report Development on an as needed basis. This education services RFP will be a five-year contract anticipated to begin on September 10, 2019.

The ideal candidate has the ability to exceed the agency’s expectations regarding its shared community vision, evidence-based decision making, community engagement, collaborative action, and investment and sustainability.

Requirements

Responsibilities regarding marketing services include developing marketing plans for education outreach campaigns, events, conferences, projects or agencies through multimedia offerings. Additionally, conference planning will be paramount to the winning candidate’s proposal. The proposer is looking for a firm with the ability to facilitate planning committee meetings to establish conference agenda, topics and speaker recommendations. Further, vendors should be able to help negotiate contracts with hotels for conference spaces.

An additional requirement is to facilitate meetings relating to action plans to validate assignments of personnel and tasks to ensure timeliness and success of goals and objectives. In order to train properly, the vendor should provide webinars, webcasts and Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Lastly, the chosen candidate will be accountable for the planning, day-to-day coordination, successful execution and close-out of assigned projects in accordance with policies and procedures. The vendor will work in tandem with all staff to facilitate a “one team” approach throughout all projects.

The awarded organization will be working directly with the Department of Education to accomplish the goals of the RFP.

Timeline

Questions for this RFP are due back by June 16, 2019. Answers will be posted on June 20, 2019. The bid response is due by July 1, 2019.

Northern Kentucky University (NKU) is a public university that was founded in 1968. It’s located in Highland Heights, Kentucky and is part of the Cincinnati Metropolitan Region. NKU serves over 15,000 students, of which about 85% are undergraduates.

Students at NKU come from 42 states and 53 countries. As such, the university offers 78 bachelor’s degrees and associate degrees, 23 graduate programs and a Juris Doctor. Further, the university is served by more than 2,000 employees of whom 541 are full-time faculty.

NKU has a satellite campus about 40 miles from the main campus and a corporate training/conference center located near the airport. The university has close ties to the business, government, and non-profit entities in the region as well as to the region’s P-12 and post-secondary schools.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this RFP will have the ability to assist with the preparation of an appropriate vacancy notice, generate a strong pool of highly qualified and interested applicants including minority applicants and support, through technology, the acceptance of credentials as well as the review of those credentials by the search committee. Additionally, other important abilities include advising and supporting the academic dean search committee, specifically the chair, vetting the applicants in the pool and establishing review criteria for the committee members’ evaluation of applicants for the search.

Towards the end of the search, the firm will help the Provost develop an appropriate compensation package and negotiate with the identified candidate.

NKU has the following criteria, listed in priority order for bid evaluation:

  2. Scope of services
  3. Past effectiveness as indicated in the proposal and by references
  4. Cost effectiveness

State of Florida Substance Abuse Bid

Overview

The Department of Children and Families (Department), Office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (SAMH), is issuing this bid to obtain media campaign services for the Partnerships for Success (PFS) Project.

The Department seeks proposals from qualified organizations to provide media services for the statewide Opioid Overdose Prevention Awareness Campaign bid. Services include continuing and expanding the Department’s existing Campaign through digital and print advertisements and developing new creative campaign materials. Also, respondents will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders on interviews and op-eds and conducting focus groups to continually inform campaign messaging.

The Department previously contracted for educational materials for the project, including creative design, advertisement placement and a website providing resources on overdose prevention education and naloxone distribution locations. They also collected focus group feedback on Campaign messaging. The existing Campaign includes digital displays, social media, Public Service Announcement videos, streaming audio, and out-of-home placements. The target audiences for the existing Campaign are people ages 25-64 who use opioids who may be at risk of experiencing an opioid overdose and their family and significant others who may witness an overdose. The target markets for the existing Campaign are Tampa, Tallahassee, Miami, Pensacola, West Palm Beach, Sarasota, Orlando and Jacksonville.

Objectives

There are three stated goals of the statewide campaign bid. Firstly, to educate individuals at risk of experiencing an opioid overdose or loved ones on the signs of said overdose. Secondly, how to use naloxone to reverse an overdose. Finally, where to access naloxone in Florida.

Additionally, the project hopes to reduce prescription drug misuse among individuals ages 12-25, reduce the number of accidental and intentional deaths caused by opioids, strengthen prevention capacity and infrastructure at the state and community level, and increase awareness of opioid overdose prevention and naloxone.

Timeline

If you’re interested in responding to this worthy bid, the anticipated start date of the contract is August 1, 2019. The anticipated duration of the contract is through September 30, 2021. Further, there is a possible renewal term for this contract of up to three years.

Written questions are due by June 17th. Responses will be posted by June 19th. Notice of intent to submit a proposal is due by June 21st. The bid response itself is due July 11th.

Bergen Community College Television Studio Bid

The Office of the Director of Purchasing and Services, Bergen Community College is currently accepting sealed bids for the purchase of a television studio set. The respondent is responsible for the custom fabrication, assembly and delivery of the theatrical/television stage set as per the requirements of this television studio bid.

The install must include an 8′ tall, two-walled studio set as per approved design art rendering included with specified measurements. Additionally, the set must include camera left 12’ wide wall featuring a large color changing graphic light box surrounded by vertical columns, header and footer. Further, the 17’ wide larger center wall should feature a large central raised wood panel with a wall-mounted monitor. There will be two color changing graphic light boxes to the right and left of this with a similar surrounding surface. Assembly of all elements as listed above must take place on premises.

Also, the bidding vendor must provide a rolling broadcast desk, semi-circular/arc-shaped with flat front providing mounting space for a video monitor. For the laminate facing style/color, it should match the set color as seen in the included renderings. Further, the desk will also have a monitor on the front face. The desktop should be black matte laminate for a non-reflective and scratch resistant surface for the purposes of this television studio bid.

City of Richmond Police Department Bid

Overview

City of Richmond Bid: The City of Richmond, Virginia is seeking a vendor to provide, deliver and maintain leased motorcycles to the Richmond Police Department. Proposals are due to the City of Richmond’s Department of Procurement Services by June 11, 2019.

Requirements

The motorcycles in scope are for a two-year contract term with an extension of up to 12 months. In addition to the extension, the City may, at its sole discretion, renew the contract for up to four (4) one-year renewal terms. They will notify parties if it plans to do so no later than sixty (60) days from the term’s expiration. You can make price adjustments in the event the City does wish to renew; however, they are not to exceed 3% of the contract price of the previous term.

Though the City specifically names Harley Davidson in its RFP, it does not have to be Harley Davidson to win. The RFP mentions a brand name, make, name of any manufacturer, trade name, or vendor catalog number throughout. This is for the purpose of establishing a grade or quality of material only. The City uses terminology like ‘or an approved equal’ as it does not wish to rule out other competition. However, if a product other than that specified is bid, it is the vendors’ responsibility to name such a product within the bid and to provide documentation to the City that said product is equal to that specified. In all instances where an “or equal” or alternate item is bid, bidders shall include a statement that this item being offered meets the specifications of the requested item. Additionally, bidders shall list all deviations from the listed specifications.

Colorado Community College Bid

The State Government of Colorado, in conjunction with the Colorado Community College system, is seeking a partner to provide online tutoring services to its student population in real-time, 24 hours per day, seven days per week. They have released a Colorado Community College RFP in an effort to meet its online tutoring needs.

These tutoring services are in addition to the existing tutoring services that happen at the college. However, the services will also serve as the sole tutoring source for all Colorado Community College online courses. The consortium expects over 2,500 hours of online tutoring per academic year through its thirteen colleges and online platform.

Thus, the vendor must be able to provide tutoring geared toward college-level curricula. Examples of subjects are math, reading, writing, science, and business.

Next, the vendor must also be able to provide tutoring services in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Specifically, the college requires tutoring for those students with audio and visual impairments.

Additionally, the ideal candidate has a tutor makeup of which 90%+ hold Masters or higher degrees in their subjects. Wekiva Springshed Education Campaign Bid

City of Rochester Bid

City of Phoenix Bid

The City of Phoenix Community and Economic Development Department is seeking a consultant to conduct research on the city to determine the future of the Downtown Redevelopment Area and the Government Mall Redevelopment Area. The city is interested in the consultant(s) recommending to renew, modify or terminate the development of the aforementioned areas. The ideal candidate(s) will have the ability to attend and participate in meetings with the City and various stakeholders to provide subject matter expertise, in addition to researching, analyzing and providing documentation needed to support a future renewal, modification or termination by the Phoenix City Council of the Downtown Redevelopment Area and the Government Mall Redevelopment Area. The City expects the consultant to begin the initial task associated with the project within two weeks of the contract award. The final timeline with allow for the City Council to have a determination on the development area in place by latest October 1, 2020. The City is allowing for a pre-proposal meeting which will take place on March 6, 2019 and questions are due back March 11, 2019. The proposal deadline is March 22, 2019 so that an award may be given in June 2019. University of North Texas Bid

The University of North Texas System (UNTS) is seeking proposals for Medical Sign Language Interpretation Services. UNTS is a University system that is composed of the University of North Texas in Denton (UNT), the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) in Fort Worth and the University of North Texas at Dallas (UNTD). The UNT System Administration is based in downtown Dallas. The three independent universities of the UNT System have combined enrollment of just over 42,000 students across five major teaching locations, including each main campus as well as Frisco and downtown Dallas. Ideal vendors will be medical providers with the ability to provide all types of language assistance, including sign language, for patients in need. UNTHSC is seeking proposals from Contractors that are able to provide Medical sign language in its clinics as needed by appointment. Expertise in medical sign language is as vital as all other correct sign language interpretation to all patients. Questions must be asked by March 1st and finished proposals are due back to UNTS by March 14th. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Bid

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is seeking capable vendors for the construction of the Human Engineering Laboratory, Natick Soldier Systems Center in Natick, Massachusetts. They are specifically looking for the capabilities of HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned and Small Businesses. This project will be to construct a new 80,600 SF laboratory building to include administrative space, laboratory space, network operations center and a soldier performance lab area. The project will also include a back-up power supply generator and related infrastructure such as a parking area, mechanical rooms, site improvements and utility connections. Construction will also require the demolition of two existing buildings. The offeror will be evaluated on past experience with similar-sized construction projects at active facilities or similar settings and must demonstrate expertise performing the construction of two (2) multi-story buildings exceeding $20 million in cost within the New England area on projects of similar size and project duration and the construction of projects on a secure military installation with secured gated access. The projected cost for this construction is between $40 and 50 million. Work will begin in June 2020 and will extend over a two-year period. Bids are due back March 12th. New York State Department of Labor Bid

The New York State Department of Labor is seeking an application development service provider to develop updates and enhancements, as well as maintain the AOSOS (America’s One-Stop Operating System Project) software application suite on behalf of the Consortium. America’s One-Stop Operating System Project is an automated, web-based, comprehensive case management and reporting system for workforce and economic development professionals who work with employers and job seekers.

AOSOS is intended to provide all the functionality required to meet the business requirements of the following United States Department of Labor administered employment and training programs: WIOA, Wagner-Peyser (WP), Jobs for Veterans State Grants (JVSG), and Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA).

The New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) wants to secure consulting services to assist NYSDOL, and its agent, the Office of Information and Technology Services (ITS), in administering the America’s One-Stop Operating System (AOSOS) software application suite.

New York State Department of Labor, as the agent for the Consortium, will award a Contract to a service provider to support the continued use of the AOSOS software application suite by providing software development, maintenance, and systems integration services, otherwise known as the “AOSOS Project”, for the Consortium.
